GRS opens new Trading office on the south coast
GRS has opened a new Trading office on the South Coast of England, with a new team serving customers across Hampshire, East Sussex and West Sussex.
Joining South Coast Sales Manager Ross Fiander at the new location at Shoreham Port are Harry Hankins (pictured left) plus Gareth Newby and Harry Bailey. The team is on hand to source and supply construction aggregates, and arrange removal of demolition and excavation wastes for recycling.
GRS Trading MD Antony Beamish (pictured right) said: “GRS has a long history of trading aggregates and waste materials on the South Coast. A permanent base in Shoreham allows us to build on our local knowledge, develop strong relationships and ensure we offer first class service in this part of the world.”
In line with Trading activities in other regions, GRS is partnering with local hauliers to shift materials from A to B, and will also use sea freight to bring in materials from further afield wherever possible, reducing road vehicle miles and minimising carbon emissions. GRS is also seeking to maximise the use of high quality recycled and secondary aggregates to support the local circular economy.
